Kosmos

"When I was 12, my grandfather asked to me about what I would like to do when I became older. I answered: 'astronomer'. Then he told me: 'Yes, but how will you eat every day?' "

Carl Sagan, astronomer

KOSMOS is a greek word that it means "world", "univers". But also it means "order". The ancient greeks (the jonic civilization) used the 5 regular polyhedrons to represent the material world. The first four polyhedrons represented the four elements: ground, water, air and fire. The fifth element, composed by 12 polygons of 5 edges, the dodecahedron, represented all the world: the Cosmos.
